Actual waits depend on triage acuity, staffing, ambulance arrivals, and minute-to-minute conditions, and may differ materially from what is displayed.

Insurance & billing
Out-of-network emergency-room visits in the US can result in five-figure bills. ERClock does not show insurance network status. Verify network status with your insurer before non-emergency care. For genuine emergencies, federal EMTALA law requires participating hospital ERs to evaluate and stabilise you regardless of insurance; don't let billing concerns stop you calling 911.
